Close-up Magic

Close-up Magic is best for one to ~20 people. If you have risers, projection, or a theater it can play for many more.

Some of the best events for close-up are:

  • Cocktail Parties

  • Networking events

  • Wedding reception

  • Bar/Bat Mitzvah

  • Corporate parties

Close-up magic can be done as one long show, or routines done from table to table, group to group for set periods of time.

Sleight of hand

A “Sleight of hand” magician is a reference to the style of magic I perform. I don’t snap my fingers, wave my hand, work with live animals, or shoot fire. The most example now is Shin Lim, an amazing performer but aside from the smoke - the magic is amazing and surprising, but I make no supernatural claims.

Mentalism & Stage

“Mentalism” is magic using people and their brain. I perform some close-up Mentalism, but I perform almost exclusively Mentalism on stage. It’s not as flashy to film but it makes for a much more personalized and unique show.

EMCEE NOTE*: Mentalism is my main medium, but my emcee sets also use some traditional magic props and gags.
